This unit is reasonably priced, but I was a bit disappointed with its display. For a newer system, you would think they would put a nicer screen on it - not something that looks like it came from a 1980s 4 function calculator. Be forwarned also - if you lose the remote control, you will not be able to access all the (limited) functions of this stereo. I bought it because I wanted a cheap, easy to move sound system for my basement for parties. It can definitely deliver on that front - it is loud. Sound quality isn't phenominal - but for the price, you can't go wrong. If you're looking for a system with a lot of functionality and excellent sound, you need to spend more money - but for a mini system, this is a pretty decent buy.
